Central Bank of Russia reports volume of loans given by Bank24.ru to for-profit self-regulatory organizations for up to 30 days plummeted by 100% (from 30 million RUR to zero) in January-March 2008.

According to the Central Bank of Russia, volume of loans given by Bank Uralfinance to sole traders for 181 days to 1 year went down by 37.29% (from 6.269 million RUR to 3.931 million RUR) in January-March 2008.

Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Eduard Rossel chaired a meeting devoted to the efficiency of the cooperation agreement the region’s government signed with Russian Railways Public Company on December 20, 2008. The meeting was attended by President of Russian Railways Public Company Vladimir Yakunin. The Governor spoke on the problems the railway needed to solve. The volume of engineering work had to go up 40% in 2008 and 319 kilometers of railways had to be repaired. Sverdlovsk Region’s division of Federal Antimonopoly Service filed a complaint against Sverdlovsk Gubernskiy Bank, claiming the latter has violated the current federal legislation on advertising, the spokesperson for the Service reports. According to the spokesperson, the ad related to the bank’s automobile and truck loans allegedly violates Articles 28 (part 3) and 5 (part 7) of the federal bill.
