The net profit of GRAN Commercial Bank went down by 35.3% in the first quarter of 2008. ‘This drop in profits compared to the last quarter of 2007 had to do with the expected decrease in the issuer’s securities transactions revenues as well as some seasonal factors,’ the bank reports. GRAN’s net profit amounted to 24,540,000 RUR in January-March 2008 compared with 37,955,000 RUR in October-December 2007.
