Russian ore maker sets into operation Novy-2 patch at Burluksky ore deposit of Krasnoyarsk Region

Irbinsky branch of Evrazruda JSC (part of Evraz Group) started developing Novy-2 patch in view of the forthcoming depletion of Novy-1 patch. The patches are located within .5 km away of each other. Together, they form the so-called Small Open Pits of Burluksky ore deposit. By the November 2006, the reserves of Novy-1 patch will have been extracted completely. By then, the company is to build trenches, a road to the pit, and a lip trench, carry the equipment from Novy-1 over to Novy-2 and construct a 6-kilovolt power line to supply the outfit with electricity. Metallurgical Works of Asha sums up its success in July 2006

The commodity output of Metallurgical Works of Asha JSC came to 701.910m RUR worth of goods in July 2006. The company produced 49,946 tons of steel and 39,708 tons of rolled metal. Plate iron export volume amounted to 4,459 tons. The company also produced 7,484 kilograms of amorphous tape and 189,533 magnetic conductors. Uraltrac Ltd. of Chelyabinsk assesses results of its operations in July 2006

In July 2006, Uraltrac Ltd. produced 458.04m RUR worth of commodity goods that amounts to 95% of the target figures. Within the past month, the company produced 148 engineer vehicles worth 277.746m RUR including 19 tractors, 16 pipe-laying cranes (40% of the target figures), and 124 ripper-dozer units (97.6% of the target figures). The total shipments came to 623.89m RUR in money terms (95.6% of the target figures). The company sold 163 engineer vehicles worth 365.905m RUR, including 142 tractors and T-10-based units. Regional bauxite ore maker considers improvement suggestions

The Technical Committee of SevUralBauxiteRuda (SUBR) JSC considered four improvement suggestions last Friday. The first proposal had to do with modifying the cells of the gig operating at -860 meters in Little Red Riding Hood mine. The idea belongs to Deputy Winning Director of No. 14 mine V. Martynov and has already been implemented in the construction of the cells, which saved the company 168,000 RUR and caused no technological complications. Uraltrac Ltd. assesses its success in seven months of 2006

Since the beginning of the year, Uraltrac Ltd. has produced 3.113 billion RUR worth of goods. The plant also produced 961 engineer vehicles worth 1,793,867,000 RUR, including 145 tractors, 54 pipelayers, and 745 ripper-dozer units. The plant shipped 3,667,110,000 RUR worth of goods and sold 968 engineer vehicles worth 2,138,493,000 RUR, including 901 tractors and T-10-based units and 52 ripper-dozers, the company’s spokesperson said to UrBC representative.

Ural Airlines look at results of their activity in seven months of 2006

The carrier has performed 5,475 flights since the beginning of 2006, which exceeds the records for 2005 by 16%. 3,668 flights were domestic ones, 469 flights were bound for the cities of the NIS, 600 flights were international charter ones, and 679 flights were regular international ones. 71.6% of the seats were actually occupied. Over 100 bilateral cooperation flights have been performed in Yekaterinburg so far, reports the spokesperson for Ural Airlines.
