Chrome output at Ferroalloys Works of Kluychevsk goes down by 18% in January to June 2006

Ferroalloys Works of Kluychevsk, a joint-stock company, produced 808,615 tons of goods in January to June 2006. The ferrochrome output came to 2,509 tons (including the 864 tons to be exported). The output of ferrotitanium went up to 2,620 tons, and the output of metallochrome decreased by 18% and now stands at 2,979 tons. The company has already made 61.669 million RUR of profit in the first six months of 2006, the spokesperson for Ferroalloys Works of Kluychevsk and Russian Chrome 1915 said to UrBC representative.

UralAutoPritsep JSC to pass a dividend for 2005

Abagurskiy subsidiary of Evrazruda starts overhaul of ore-handling bridge

Experts of NSK-Novokuznetsk Ltd. and technicians from the processing shop of Abagurskiy sintering plant (subsidiary of Evrazruda JSC, an ore maker and part of Evraz Group) started the 25-day overhaul of their No. 3 ore-handling bridge, which should include renovation of the hardware, reports the spokesperson for Evraz Group. The cracks in the bearing structures are to be given additional welding, and the structures themselves will be fortified, with the weak screws replaced by some high-strength ones. Magnitostroy JSC to pass a dividend for 2005

The shareholders of Magnitostroy JSC agreed to pass a dividend for 2005; the decision was made at the annual general meeting on June 30, 2006. The meeting was attended by 731 shareholders possessing 284,936 votes, or 86.2% of the company’s voting stock. 29% less money lent by UralTransBank JSC to non-governmental commercial organizations throughout January to June 2006, says Central Bank of Russia

According to the Central Bank of Russia, UralTransBank JSC has given 29% less money in the form of credits to nongovernmental commercial organizations for a term of 31 to 90 days in the first six months of 2006: the total sum has gone down from 259.966 million RUR to 184.669 million. As has previously been reported, the volume of loans given by the bank to nongovernmental commercial organizations for a term of 31 to 90 days went down by 17% (from 259.966 million to 215.919 million RUR) in January to May 2006.

Oleg Nuyanzin appointed CEO of Alpha Bank JSC in Yekaterinburg

Former Administrative Director of Yekaterinburg subsidiary of Alpha Bank JSC Oleg Nuyanzin was appointed CEO, reports the spokesperson for Alpha Bank. Mr Nuyanzin will now have to deal with both administrative and managerial issues. Uraltrac Ltd. assesses its success throughout January to June 2006

Uraltrac Ltd. has produced 2,638,300,000 worth of goods since the beginning of 2006. The plant has also produced 814 engineer vehicles worth 1,513,014,000 RUR, including 125 tractors, 46 pipelayers, and 627 ripper-dozer units. Throughout January to June 2006, the plant has shipped 3,043,220,000 RUR worth of goods and sold 823 engineer vehicles worth 1,772,568,000 RUR, including 759 tractors and T-10-based units and 38 ripper-dozers, the company’s spokesperson said to UrBC representative.
