Chelyabinsk power generating company JSC is going to hold AGM via absentee voting on July 24, 2006. The only point on the agenda is the one of reorganizing the company by merging with Tyumen Regional Generating Company JSC (alongside with TGK-10), with the following approval of the corresponding agreement and of the deed of assignment. The list of shareholders allowed to take part in the decision-making process was complied according to their status as of June 8, 2006. Asha Metallurgical Works JSC looks at its success in the first half of 2006

In the first six months of 2006, Asha Metallurgical Works JSC has already produced 3,313,544,000 RUR worth of goods, which exceeds the figures for the period of January to June 2005 by 5.1%. The company produced 316,482 tons of steel (an increase of 2.7% compared to a year earlier) and 234,632 tons of rolled metal (an increase of 7.2%). The plant has produced 31,013.36 kilograms of amorphous tape and 729,100 magnetic conductors throughout January to June 2006, the company’s spokesperson said to UrBC representative.

Vysokogorskiy ore mining and processing enterprise assesses productivity of new oil containment device at outfall of Yestyuninskaya mine

Yestyuninskaya mine of Vysokogorskiy ore mining and processing enterprise (part of Evraz Group) has recently assessed the productivity of the additional oil containment device installed at the water outfall: the device has already managed to reduce the oil content in the wastewater by 23%. The system was installed in the fall of 2005 and is made up of a coke-filled iron box; due to its sponginess, the coke can absorb the oil. Uraltrac Ltd. assesses its success in June 2006

Uraltrac Ltd. produced 475,480,000 worth of goods in June 2006, which is 4.9% less than had been planned. The plant also produced 154 engineer vehicles worth 281,820,000 RUR, including 28 tractors, 13 pipelayers (which is 30% more than had been planned), and 113 ripper-dozer units (9.6% less than had been planned). The plant shipped 605,890,000 RUR worth of goods (which means a 94.8% achievement of the plan) and sold 164 engineer vehicles worth 369,824,000 RUR, including 148 tractors and T-10-based units and 10 ripper-dozers, the company’s spokesperson said to UrBC representative.
