President of RenovaStroyGroup Veniamin Golubitskiy took part in the fifteenth session of the Russian-French council for economic, financial, production, and trade contacts in Saint Petersburg. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Head of Russian Federation Government Sergey Sobyanin and Christine Lagarde, French Minister for the Economy, Industry and Employment. The issue of infrastructure development projects in Russia was one of the main points on the agenda.

Veniamin Golubitskiy made a report on Renova’s multi-faceted area development projects in Russia, commenting on the French companies’ contribution to them. For instance, the general layout, and the construction and engineering design for the company’s Academic construction project in Yekaterinburg were partly created by France’s leading architectural and design offices. The business executive also spoke about the need for more cooperation between the state and the private sector in the field of large-scale area development projects, especially in terms of putting up engineering and social infrastructures.

Sergey Sobyanin supported the idea of more intense state-private cooperation and said this was one the government’s top priorities at the moment. The official promised the Russian Government’s support to the country’s entrepreneurs through adopting some special programs aimed at implementing area development projects.
