29 April 2008 (09:11)

ALNAS (RTS: ALNZ), part of ChTPZ Group and Neftserviceholding’s integrated maintenance division, decided to set up a joint venture in Perm Territory meant for full service and maintenance of oil wells, the spokesperson for ChTPZ Group said to UrBC.

The new enterprise, known as SPO ALNAS, will be using both Russian and foreign equipment and is to be based in Polazna, Perm Territory. The company is expected to provide repairs and maintenance for 1,500 oil wells altogether.

‘Our maintenance center will offer local oil companies a whole range of maintenance services as well as geophysical work and drilling as soon as the end of 2008,’ says ALNAS BOD member Vladimir Khristenko.

‘Setting up a joint venture is bound to produce an impressive synergizing effect: ALNAS will be able to expand geographically, while Neftserviceholding gets access to the newest maintenance technologies. As a result, the repairs will take much less time, while the quality will be enhanced greatly. I am positive that the new enterprise is only the beginning of a long-term partnership,’ says Neftserviceholding’s Chairman Vladimir Mikhnevitch.
