Ural Turbine Plant’s stockholders decided to make some new appointments to boost the enterprise’s further development; for one, Evgeniy Kislitsin was appointed the plant’s acting General Director, succeeding Vladimir Ermolaev.

‘At the moment, the plant needs to effectively implement the adopted development strategy, introduce new technologies, deal with the new market segments, and entice the new types of consumers to work with. We do need a real breakthrough in all these fields, and this is the challenge the new management team is to meet,’ says Ural Turbine Plant’s Chairperson Ekaterina Lyakhova.

Ms Lyakhova feels the new appointments mark the beginning of a new era in the plant’s development.

‘The plant has got everything to become a major Russian power-plant engineering holding that will deal in engineering, production, and maintenance of power equipment and electric power facilities. The enterprise’s stockholders are going to keep investing in the plant’s production development, find some strategic partners, and bring the business in compliance with today’s technological and corporate management standards,’ she notes.
