Khortytsa wins in international tasting contest

Over 400 strong drinks producers took part in the 10th International Tasting Contest held within the framework of ProdExpo 2008 exhibition. Many competing drinks were given gold, silver, and bronze medals, while the first prize was awarded to vodka produced by Khortytsa. This trademark entered the Russian market in 2006, and its sales have been soaring since. Apart from the first prize, the drink received over 200 awards at a number of respectable international competitions.


‘We were determined to become the market’s absolute leader in terms of quality when we first launched the production of strong drinks. Our victory at ProdExpo proves that we have reached our goal, we actually offered our customers the best vodka, that is, Khortytsa,’ the company’s Marketing an Advertising Director Sergey Velichko says.


ProdExpo is Russia and Eastern Europe’s largest international forum and the most important annual event in the food industry. For over fifteen years, ProdExpo has been shaping this business’s development course, with over 1,500 food an drink producers from fifty different countries taking part in the exhibition this year.


ProdExpo’s agenda always includes international tasting contests targeted at picking out the best products. Professional and skilled experts are invited to act as tasters, so the contest is thought of very highly by the strong drink producers.
