Ural Airlines launches new flights from Yekaterinburg to Moscow

16 October 2007 (11:16)

Ural Airlines started operating more scheduled flights from Yekaterinburg to Moscow on October 15, 2007. In addition to the existing flights, the carrier’s customers will now have more chances to fly to the capital of Russia on weekdays.

The Yekaterinburg-Moscow destination is used by over 20% of the airline’s customers every month. In September 2007, for instance, Ural Airlines flew more than 25,000 passengers to Moscow, the carrier’s press officer reports.

The newly introduced flights (U6 264) are operated on weekdays using TU 154 and A 320 airplanes. The planes leave Koltsovo airport in Yekaterinburg at 6.50 AM and arrive at Domodedovo airport in Moscow at 7.05 AM. The return planes (flight U6 263) take off at 7.45 PM and arrive in Yekaterinburg at 11.55 PM.

This means that Ural Airlines now operates up to nine flights to Domodedovo airport, up to five flights to Sheremetyevo airport, and one flight to Vnukovo airport daily.

Tickets can be booked and bought in any booking office as well as online (www.uralairlines.com) or over the phone (+7 (343) 345-36-45 or + 7 8-800-2000-262).
