ChTPZ-Complex Pipe Systems delivered the first set of 40 taps with the diameter of 820 millimeters for Vankor-Purpe pipeline in September 2006. The second set of 140 taps will have been delivered by the end of 2007, the company’s press officer reports. All the taps were produced in Chelyabinsk by a division of ChTPZ-Complex Pipe Systems. The technical specifications of the taps are based on the standards developed by Russia’s major oil and gas enterprises.
