ChTPZ Group delivers 1,309,000 tons of tubes and pipes in January-August 2007

Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (ChTPZ Group’s largest tube and pipe manufacturers) supplied their consumers with 1,309,000 tons of tubular goods in the eight months of 2007, which is 18% better than in January-August 2006 when the figure only came to 1,111,000 tons.

ChTPZ Group sold 717,500 tons of tubes and pipes in the eight months of the year, which exceeds the figures for a year earlier (that is, 611,900 tons) by 17%. These figures include a 26% increase in the amount of large-diameter pipes: it came to 401,300 tons compared with only 317,300 tons of LDPs in January-August 2006.

Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant delivered 85,500 tons of tubular goods to consumers in August 2007 (which falls short of last year’s figures (106,500 tons) by 20%), including 45,300 tons of LDPs, which falls short of figures for August 2006 (53,600 tons) by 15%.

Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant delivered 85,400 tons of tubular goods to consumers in August 2007 (which is 8% better than the 78,800 tons delivered a year earlier) and 591,500 tons since the beginning of the year, which is 19% better than the 499,000 tons delivered in January-August 2006.
