Sverdlovsk Region’s revenues coming from environmental fees amount to 129.6 million RUR in January-June 2007

Sverdlovsk Region’s budget revenues coming from environmental fees amounted to 129.6 million RUR in January-June 2007, which is 7.7% better than the initially planned figures for the first half of the year. These figures come to 59.2% of the annual plan.
The fees were paid as a result of a number of inspections and investigations; besides, the authorities filed 80 administrative suits against various offenders (with 73 cases already processed in court), imposed 62 fines coming to 562,800 RUR altogether (with 263,800 RUR paid already), and issued 149 reports on the need to impose the total of 1,026,500 RUR worth of fines.
