Ural Turbine Plant meets Encertico standards

23 July 2007 (06:39)

Ural Turbine Plant (part of RENOVA Group) has successfully undergone an inspection for compliance of its production with Encertico power industry certification standards, the plant’s press officer reports.

The certifying procedure is voluntary, yet it is one of the major requirements RAO UES of Russia (our major customer) imposes on us. Besides, having a certificate can really help if you compete for a tender both at home and in the CIS,’ Ural Turbine Plant’s General Director Vladimir Ermolaev says.

Encertico was designed specifically for power engineering industry, so the company willing to get certified can be selective and decide on the facilities and data they want to be examined themselves.

The company’s employees report that the certificating body confirmed the outstanding level of the company’s technological and organizational achievements as well as professionalism of the staff and production and service safety.
