RENOVA Stroy Group presented its Academic Construction Project at Real Vienna 2007 International Exhibition on May 23, 2007. The exhibition usually attracts Western and Eastern Europe’s largest investment projects.
The company’s press officer says the project stand was located in Messezentrum Wien Neu, the exposition’s main pavilion. At least a few hundred visitors had a look at the stand within the first few hours of the opening; these were mainly European officials and entrepreneurs, including Vienna’s Vice Mayor, Vienna’s Minister for Finances and Economic Policies Renate Brauner, and top executives of Raiffeisen Centrobank AG headed by BOD member Dr. Gerhard Grund.
‘The visitors said they were greatly impressed with the concept and the city-planning insights and commented on the scale of the project which is still unheard of in Europe. Western developers and investment companies reported they would be interested in taking part in the implementation of the program,’ the press officer reports.
Real Vienna exhibition is expected to take three days, during which RENOVA’s management intends to negotiate with some of their potential European partners and sign a number of cooperation agreements.
The Academic construction project is a future residential area in the south-west of Yekaterinburg fit for 325,000 people with over 13 million square meters of buildings (that is, 9 million square meters of dwellings and 4.2 million square meters of commercial estate). This is both Europe and Russia’s largest construction project currently at the implementation stage.
