The awarding ceremony of Stock Market Elite competition backed up by National Association of Securities Market Participants (NAUFOR) took place on April 19, 2007. The contestants had to compete in both official and special regional categories (the latter were available for establishments that educate future stock market experts, television, printed and electronic media that cover economic issues, and people who have made a significant contribution to Ural stock market development).

The ceremony was attended by Head of Federal Financial Market Service in Ural Federal District Vladimir Krysov, Chairman of Yekaterinburg Council Investment Committee Alexander Kovalchik, Deputy Head of Federal Financial Market Service in Ural Federal District Igor Kuzmin, Director of Ural division of National Association of Securities Market Participants Radik Akhmetshin, Director of Law and Entrepreneurship Institute under Ural State Law Academy Vladimir Belykh (all of whom acted as members of the jury) as well as some reporters and stock market players.
