2.821m square meters of housing were introduced in Ural Federal District in January-November 2006, which exceeds the figures for the eleven months of 2005 by 33.3%, reports the Plenipotentiary Representation of Russian Federation President in Ural Federal District.
It appears that more dwellings were put up due to concentrating on the more economical apartments in terms of living space. This is why the increase in the number of apartments offered in the eleven months of 2006 (which makes up 139.2% of the corresponding period of 2005) outstrips the growth rate of the total area of the housing offered in January-November 2006.
