Local budget for 2007 does not provide for fallen bridge restoration
27 December 2006 (08:40)
‘The budget of Yekaterinburg adopted for 2007 does not provide for the restoration of the bridge in Schevchenko St. This year, the city has spent 130m RUR out of the allotted 160m RUR to build the bridge, but the investment flow has been stopped until the reason why it fell down has been found. The damage will be claimed after the investigation is completed, and those responsible for the accident will have to pay,’ Head of Financial and Budgeting Department Andrei Koryukov announced at the municipal Duma meeting devoted to the next year’s budget.
