Vysokogorskiy Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise (part of Evraz Group) has almost completed overhaul of its No. 3 grinding and sorting facility used for processing limestone.

The company’s contractors and the corporate repair teams have fully restored the jawbreaker (one of the major pieces of equipment). They replaced the old parts of the oil systems and thus eliminated all the leakage. In order to protect the units, they replaced the lining of the sinkhole and repaired the conveyors and shakers.

This overhaul makes it possible to stabilize the limestone processing routine as well as cut production costs.

The enterprise is currently extracting limestone with 54%-calcium content at Galiyanskiy mine; the stuff is supplied to two companies belonging to Evraz Group (ore mining and processing enterprises of Nizhniy Tagil and Kachkanar).
