Metallurgical Industrial Complex of Nishniy Tagil examines employees’ work environment

The Labour and Industrial Safety Department of Metallurgical Industrial Complex of Nizhniy Tagil JSC (part of Evraz Group) consists of over 60 workers who have to constantly keep track of providing for the safe working conditions for the company’s employees.
The Complex sees the life and health of its workers as its top priority; the latest examinations specifically dwelled on the metallurgists following drinking routines in the corporate production shops and on accident prevention. Summer is considered to be the most challenging period for metallurgical enterprises as the temperature in the steel plants can get as high as 40 to 50 degrees centigrade; this is why the workers have to take preventive steps to avoid dehydration.
This summer’s safety enhancement campaign included a few scores of measures, reports the spokesperson for Metallurgical Industrial Complex of Nizhniy Tagil.
