Gold and foreign currency reserves of Russia decrease by $2bn down to $275bn

Gold and foreign currency reserves of Russia as of August 18, 2006 amounted to $275bn, reported PR-department of Bank of Russia.

On August 11, 2006, the gold and foreign currency reserves came to $277bn, which means they have gone down by $2bn within a week.
