First Deputy Head of Sverdlovsk Region Government and Minister for Industry, Power Engineering and Science Vladimir Molchanov and Minister for International and Foreign Economic Relations of Sverdlovsk Region Viktor Koksharov negotiated with a group of Japanese executives from Daiwa Securities Group Inc., Japan Tobacco Inc., Japan Airlines International Co., Ltd., Nyk Logistics & Megacarrier, Yanmar Co., Ltd., Teijin Limited, Toppan Travel Service Corp., and Inpex Corporation. The meeting was devoted to setting priorities in the prospective cooperation of the companies with the enterprises of Sverdlovsk Region. The offices of over 300 foreign businesses and over 1,000 joint ventures are already present in the area, and Japan is the 13th largest foreign partner of Sverdlovsk Region, reports the spokesperson for Sverdlovsk Region Ministry for Industry, Power Engineering and Science.
