Vanadium JSC modernizes bucket-wheel excavators

Vanadium Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise JSC of Kachkanar (member of Evraz Group) is getting its machinery repaired and modernized by the contractor, Vostoktechmontazh Ltd. On June 20, 2006, the fifth excavator was put into operation after the repairs.
The renovated excavator began operating at the stockyard thus replacing the excavator No. 46, which is the next to be repaired.
The renovation of its successor at the stockyard included replacement of all carriage units, installation of a new bucket with the capacity of 10 cubic meters.
At the moment, the company’s management is looking into the opportunities of setting up in-house overhauls of complicated quarry equipment.
