Road metal sales of Vysokogorsky Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise go up by 7 to 9% within five months of 2006

Within the first five months of 2006, Vysokogorsky Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise (member of Evraz Group) has increased its sales of various road metal fractions. The increase came to 7 to 9% against the corresponding figures for the previous year. The road metal of 5 to 20 mm and that of 0 to 10 mm size fractions are in the highest demand. According to Evraz-Holding Ltd. PR-department, the increase in road metal sales is a result of growth of house and road building and that of consumer wants. Due to an accretion of demand, the prices of the shipped production more than doubled. The heaviest buyers of this kind of the company’s production are the concrete product plants located in Moscow Region, Sverdlovsk Region, oil-and-gas producer Surgutneftegas, road builders of Perm and Kirov Regions, of Chuvashia and Hanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District.
