Vanadium Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise of Kachkanar JSC, member of Evraz Group, has started scheduled repairs of crushing shop equipment. The repairs are to last from June 13 to June 15, 2006 for 56 hours. Teams of professionals from service centre for repairs of the enterprise equipment are to carry out inspection and routine repairs of five conveyors at the operating crushing shop, the company’s PR-department reported.

The repairs include replacement of the conveyors’ belts and setting up of a ‘tower of samples’ for estimation of ore fragmentation size and of ore iron content. The setting up has effected changing of the sampling trays at the other crushers. The technicians will also replace the worn-out parts of the sixth section bin brick lining at the secondary crushing sector.
