The executives of Ural Turbine Works CJSC (part of Renova Group) participated in the presentation of Reconstruction of Cogeneration Plant-12 Project alongside with Solikamskbumprom JSC that has been offered the K-17 turbine ordered from the UTB well before the deadline.

‘The company considered the project to be highly important, that is why we completed the order early using the parts we had in stock,’ said Commercial Director of Ural Turbine Works Alexei Sedunin.

Within the framework of the reconstruction project, a new condensing electricity production cycle was installed at the heat power plant. The cycle includes new condensing turbine produced by Ural Turbine Works whose capacity is 17 megawatt, a cooler, a pumping facility and water reuse lines. The capacity of one of the operating turbines went up from 25 to 60 megawatt and a new air-cooling generator was installed. The generator capacity is 60 megawatt. Due to the reconstruction, the installed electricity generating capacity of the heat power plant increased by 52 megawatt up to 144.7 megawatt; hence it is the highest unit capacity implemented within Perm Region in the post-Soviet era. The total amount of reconstruction investments exceeded 500m RUR. This was reported by PR-department of Ural Turbine Works CJSC.
