Natural gas consumption limits exceeded by 74 million cubic meters throughout January 17 to 26, says supplier of Chelyabinsk

30 January 2006 (12:20)

The daily consumption limit of 56.5 million cubic meters of natural gas allotted to Chelyabinsk Region has been exceeded by 74 million cubic meters throughout January 17 to 26, 2006, reports the spokesperson for Chelyabinskregiongas Ltd., natural gas supplier.

During these ten days, the regional enterprises were supposed to have given 130 million cubic meters of gas to dwellings, socially important buildings and communal services, according to the Plan # 1 scheme.

Despite these schemes, the management of local businesses (Metallurgical Industrial Complex of Magnitogorsk, Metallurgical Works of Zlatoust, Machine-Building Works of Zlatoust, Machine-Building Works of Miass, Metallurgical Works of Asha, Tube Works of Chelyabinsk) are not meeting their liabilities due to the lack of backup fuel.
