Slovenian firm starts charcoal production line with YUT enterprise

During their business tour of Sverdlovsk Region, representatives of Imex Engineering of Slovenia took part in the production startup of Tajfun splitting and crosscutting line of YUT business enterprise (forestry of Kourovka). The line is a part of a would-be charcoal production unit.
Imex Engineering is a representative of firms such as Tajfun, Ledinek, and Javor that supply equipment for logging, processing low-grade timber, woodworking and making wood-based panels and veneer.
Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Eduard Rossel suggested doing some joint projects aimed at developing Ural timber industry during his visit to Slovenia in July 2005. Therefore, Imex Engineering negotiated with Sverdles CJSC, Medeya Ltd., Pervaya Lesopromyshlennaya Kompaniya Ltd., ASkom Holding, Atlantis Ltd., Termaks Ltd. and Timber Ltd.
As Director of Sverdlovsk Region Ministry for Industry, Power Engineering and Science Timber Industry Department Andrey Mekhrentsev explains, the veneer maker of Tavda is also going to update its wood chipboard and veneer bent spring production. The Slovenian companies have offered to provide for technical re-equipment and set up new businesses with timber industry enterprise of Lobva, reports the Governor’s Information Department
