UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 2, 2020. EVRAZ Holding’s People’s Correspondent Video Project got nearly 1.5 million views in the last six weeks, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s Corporate Communications Center’s PR Department reports.

‘The project took off in the summer of 2019. EVRAZ employees submitted videos featuring their native towns’ favorite locations, with twelve young people then going to four places in Siberia and the Urals as project reporters and show hosts. They went to five of EVRAZ Holding’s member enterprises: EVRAZ West-Siberian Metallurgical Plant in Novokuznetsk, EVRAZ Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Plant in Nizhniy Tagil, Kachkanarsky Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise in Kachkanar, and Raspadsky Quarry and Raspadskaya Processing Plant in Mezhdurechensk. In style of a popular TV show Oryol i Reshka, the reporters were split into six pairs of co-hosts, with one doing all the local landmarks and the other going on a tour of a plant’s production facilities,’ the company says.

People’s Correspondent episodes got broadcast via YouTube, uploaded onto EVRAZ’s social network accounts (VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Facebook, and Instagram), and aired on local TV channels. The people’s correspondents tried to edu-tain their viewers on the intricacies of the most sophisticated tech processes, told them about the things that impressed them most on a production site, and focused on the unusual historic sights and amusing facts about the history of every town they visited.
