KORTROS Group’s housing developer RSG-Akademicheskoye, which keeps putting up Yekaterinburg’s District Akademicheskiy within the framework of a comprehensive area development project, extended the deadline for its mortgage-from-1.9%-a-year offer till the end of April, the company’s press service reports.

The special offer comes from RSG-Akademicheskoye and Metcombank and applies to a range of newly commissioned apartment buildings in District Akademicheskiy’s Preobrazhensky Quarter (Blocks 05, 06, 07, and 08) and Blizky Quarter (26.1.1 and 26.2).

‘The mortgage plan that lets you become a home owner on unique terms (interest rates starting from 1.9% a year) took off in District Akademicheskiy last year. Given the great demand for the program, the housing developer and Metcombank decided to extend the offer. This will enable many of our customers to buy a place even in times of economic uncertainty,’ says Director-General at RSG-Akademicheskoye Viktor Krivoshein.

Under the terms of the special offer, you pay an interest rate of 1.9% a year for a five-year period if your down payment comes to 71%+ of the apartment’s purchase price; if your repayment period comes to eight years (which is the longest you can apply for) and your down payment comes to 71%+ of the apartment’s purchase price, the interest rate comes to 3.9% a year.

The mortgage amount starts from RUB 300,000 (as long as this minimum amount is greater than or equal to 20% of the apartment’s price). The maximum repayment period is eight years; the maximum mortgage amount is RUB 6 million. The offer applies to Russian nationals in the 21-65 age group.
