UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 6, 2020. The foundation of Vysota Ice Academy in Ozersk is now being worked on, ChelPipe Group’s press service reports.
The unique sports facility is a public-private partnership project supported by the Group and is expected to get launched in 2021.
‘The 10,000-square-meter facility will house an ice arena with a hockey pitch big enough for 400 spectators; a skate hire service; choreography classrooms; coaches’ rooms; and other spaces that are necessary for doing professional sports. More than 600 children and teenagers are expected to train at the new multifunctional sports center. Besides, there will also be sports playgrounds and spaces for playing futsal, volleyball, basketball, and hockey, a skating rink, workout sites, and children’s playgrounds outside Vysota Ice Academy,’ the press service says.
The general contractor for the project is about to complete the first construction stage: getting the soil conditioned for the construction, building a drainage system, piling, timbering, and foundation frame work. The time for the next stage comes in April 2020, when the company will start assembling the metal framework and the envelopment for the building.
