UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 4, 2020. The local round of Open Innovations Startup Tour will take place at Ural Hi Tech Park in Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Region, on March 16-17, the event coordinators report.
The application process has by now closed, but anyone can still come to the contest and talk to experts; admission is free, you’ll only need to sign up for the event.
During the Startup Tour, experts from Skolkovo Foundation and other leading development institutes will share their experience of liaising with tech entrepreneurs outside of Moscow and Saint Petersburg. Government officials, members of business community and the academia, and experts from the educational sector will speak about the implementation of the Russian Federation’s Digital Economy Program in Sverdlovsk Region.
‘Sverdlovsk Region has always been a point of attraction for innovative businesses. Joining in the Startup Tour will give the local innovators an opportunity to present their tech and business development projects and find investors/partners. I’m sure the event will promote new business opportunities, experience-sharing, and better partnerships between Sverdlovsk Region’s innovative teams and large local, national, and international companies,’ says Sverdlovsk Region’s Industry & Science Minister Sergei Perestoronin.
