UrBC, Kogalym, February 17, 2020. ChelPipe Group will be holding Snezhnost Charity Festival in Kogalym, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Region, on February 14-16. The theater marathon took off in the Urals and Tatarstan last December, with support from Russia’s Culture Ministry, Kogalym Council, and LUKOIL. The festival plays will be hosted by Siberia Culture Palace and Metro Youth Center.

According to the Group’s press service, Snezhnost will open with The Cat’s House, a family opera performed by young singers from Chelyabinsk Children’s Singing School (created at the initiative of and supported by ChelPipe Group). The young spectators will also be able to see Dreams Changing the World by the Andrei Fartushny Moscow Children's Theater and Giant and Others, a show of light puppets and marionettes by the Russian puppeteer Nikolai Zykov. More than 2,000 residents of Kogalym, including children of people employed at local enterprises, children from the less affluent and socially vulnerable families, and children from social rehabilitation centers, will get to see the shows.

‘ChelPipe Group and LUKOIL are more than just successful long-time business partners; the two companies also share the corporate social responsibility principles and beliefs. We are happy to see Ural Federal District’s largest children’s charity event expand geographically this year thanks to ChelPipe Group and LUKOIL’s socio-cultural exchange. Snezhnost’s best plays will leave the young locals with spectacular, unforgettable memories and experiences. I’m sure the performances will prove a success and will inspire every spectator to do some good deed,’ says Head of Charity & Social Projects Olga Stebunova.
