ChelPipe Group to Compete in Worldskills Russia

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, February 3, 2020. 29 contestants and 31 experts will be representing ChelPipe Group at the upcoming 8th Worldskills Russia Sverdlovsk Region Championship; the company’s team will be competing in twelve skills categories and two age groups (Juniors and General), the Group’s press service reports.
Students on the Group’s Future of White-Coated Metallurgy In-Company Training Program and high schoolers from Pervouralsk undergoing the Group’s early job counseling programs will make part of ChelPipe Group’s team. The contestants have trained for the championship at the Group’s Training Center’s labs and experimental departments that are fitted with up-to-date appliances supplied by the leading global manufacturers.
ChelPipe Group’s Training Center in Pervouralsk will also serve as one of the venues for the championship, where participants will compete in Industrial Mechanics & Assembly, Robotized Welding, and Reverse Engineering. The Reverse Engineering competition will take place at the recently opened, custom-designed, WorldSkills-compliant workshop that was introduced as part of the National Education Project and Federal Young Professionals Project public-private partnership scheme.
WorldSkills Russia Sverdlovsk Region will be held in 105 different categories at 16 different sites on February 3-7, 2020. Over 700 contestants are expected to take part in the event.
