Teens from FORES-Supported Greco-Roman Wrestling School Win Prizes in Chelyabinsk Region Championship

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, January 21, 2020. Young people from a Greco-Roman wrestling school in Kamensk-Uralsky (supported financially by OOO FORES’s local branch) won gold and bronze at a championship held in Chelyabinsk Region this month, FORES’s press service reports.

The championship for young men born in 2005-2006 took place in Krasnogorsky, Chelyabinsk Region, on Saturday, January 18.

‘Over two hundred young wrestlers competed in the event. They came from Sverdlovsk Region, Chelyabinsk Region, Kurgan Region, Orenburg Region, and Kazakhstan. Dmitri Kolokolnikov from Kamensk-Uralsky’s Greco-Roman wrestling school won the first prize in the under-41 kg weight class and Mikhail Biryukov won the third prize in the under-62 kg one,’ the company says.

OOO FORES’s Kamensk-Uralsky branch supports the local Greco-Roman wrestling school on a regular basis. The company funds repairs and remodeling and helps purchase new sports appliances and the athletes’ uniforms. The young people also get their trips to local and nationwide competitions covered.
