MMK Among Russian Union of Industrialists & Entrepreneurs’ Annual Index Leaders

UrBC, Magnitogorsk, January 14, 2020. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) is among the Russian Union of Industrialists & Entrepreneurs’ annual Responsibility & Openness and Sustainable Development Vector index leaders, MMK’s Information & PR Department reports.
‘The Russian Union of Industrialists & Entrepreneurs carried its annual indices featuring major Russian companies’ achievements in the field of CSR management, sustainable development, and social entrepreneurship. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works was among the leaders of Responsibility & Openness and Sustainable Development Vector indices,’ the company says.
The Responsibility & Openness Index reflects how well businesses are prepared to disclose information about themselves; there were thirty-four companies on the list, including Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works, a company reputed for its high transparency standards. MMK’s annual reports have won contests held for Russian issuers more than once; the plant itself is a multiple winner of the Proactive Company Transparency Policy Contest for issuers.
The Sustainable Development Vector Index for 2019 features thirty companies with positive growth dynamics, including MMK.
