FORES’s Kamensk-Uralsky Branch Supports Children’s Graeco-Roman Wrestling Championship

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 18, 2019. OOO FORES’s Kamensk-Uralsky branch helped coordinate Raduga Children’s Graeco-Roman Wrestling Championship in town, the company’s press service reports.

The championship took place in late October, gathering together over a hundred young sports players from Sverdlovsk Region and Kurgan Region. The event was dedicated to Nikolay Shmakov, the coach at and founder of a Graeco-Roman wrestling club at the local sports school.

The awards (trophy cups, medals, and certificates) were given to the young winners by Director at OOO FORES’s Kamensk-Uralsky branch Alexander Miller.

‘Contestants born in 2006-2008 competed in the championship in eleven weight classes (ranging from 29 kg to 68 kg) this year. Sports players from FORES-supported club in Kamensk-Uralsky won one gold medal, six silver ones, and three bronze ones,’ the press service says.

Now OOO FORES’s Kamensk-Uralsky branch supports the local Graeco-Roman wrestling club on a regular basis. RUB 400,000 got allocated for the club in the ten months of 2019 alone so that the club could undergo remodeling, get new equipment, and buy new uniforms. The sports players also had their trips to local and national competitions covered.
