EVRAZ: 100+ Workers to Compete in WorldSkills Hi Tech

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 29, 2019. Over a hundred employees of EVRAZ Holding are going to compete in the blue-collar job championship WorldSkills Hi Tech at Yekaterinburg Expo on October 28-November 1, 2019, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s Corporate Communications Center reports.
‘This year, EVRAZ team will compete in twelve different categories: Mechatronics, Welding Technologies, Wiring, Industrial Automation, Lab Chemical Analysis, Sheet Metal Treatment, Nondestructive Testing, Engineering Design, Reverse Engineering, Mobile Robotics, CAD Engineering Design, and Job Safety. EVRAZ Ural+Siberia team comprises twelve students from EVRAZ-supported schools and (for the first time ever) contestants in the 50+ age group. The company’s management will also contribute to WorldSkills Hi Tech business agenda,’ the company says.
The company’s stand will be featuring presentations on the holding’s member enterprises. Visitors to the stand will be able to take a virtual guided tour of the plants and mines and look at the wheels and beams production facilities.
