Miners from Section 1 (Head: Vladislav Krasnikov; foreman: Sergey Guryanov; mechanic: Evgeny Matsulevitch) are now EVRAZ Holding’s Raspadskaya Coal Company’s fifth team to produce 1,000,000,000 kg of coal; the coal got extracted from Coalface 4-1-5-6, Raspadskaya Coal Company’s PR Department reports.

The production upgrades Osinnikovskaya Mine is undergoing at the moment will help keep up with and improve on this achievement. EVRAZ purchased a Fazos unit specially for the mine, so as to account for all of its particular mining and geological parameters.

‘We settled the necessary type, size, and configuration of the unit with the manufacturer, to make sure the machine stays up-to-date for a few more years. The unit will be used in combination with Joy and Kamat appliances; now Kamat is a globally renewed hydraulic equipment brand,’ says Osinnikovskaya Mine’s Director Igor Kirillov.

In addition to buying advanced equipment, the mine is also getting a conveyor belt upgrade and is switching to a series of IT projects (automated pre-shift medical checkups and the digital job safety and industrial safety solution Abie).
