MMK, TMK Keep Collaborating

UrBC, Magnitogorsk, September 27, 2019. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) and Pipe Metallurgical Co., OJSC (TMK) held a coordination council meeting in Volzhsky, Volgograd Region, to look into their current performance and discuss future collaboration plans.
According to MMK’s Information & PR Department, this was the two companies’ 27th coordination council meeting so far. The meeting was attended by heads of Tech and Sales at MMK, TMK, and TMK’s Volzhsky Pipe Plant, Seversky Pipe Plant, and TAGMET. Deputy Director-General for Sales at MMK Sergey Ushakov chaired MMK’s delegation.
The attendees looked at the two parties’ performance report for the years 2016-2018 and assessed the outcomes of MMK contributing to TMK’s large-diameter pipe projects. For one, MMK supplied more than 500,000,000 kg of flat rolled products to TMK’s pipe assets last year and over 660,000,000 kg of produce in the three quarters of 2019.
