This is Russia’s first digital solution in the Enterprise segment to protect mobile devises against cyber threats. In case certain activity is seen as risky, the app will limit the mobile device’s access to corporate data.
The software package was developed in collaboration with the Russian branch of Check Point Software Technologies, one of the global leaders in enterprise cyber security. According to the company, 33% of businesses worldwide were the target of mobile malware-generated cyber attacks in the last year alone.
‘The way we see an ISP/mobile carrier is changing; a telecom company evolves from phone call options, text messaging and Internet access to digital solutions. MegaFon is the leader and flagship of the change on the Russian market. We are happy to be the first company to offer our business customers more than just an antivirus software with a policy customization option: what we present is the first solution that lets you control the mobile device protection settings in terms of malware-infected files, high-profile network attacks, phishing, and zero-day vulnerability. The threat detection is enabled through our partner Check Point’s solutions,’ says Enterprise Marketing Director at MegaFon Pavel Zakharov.
