UrBC, Chelyabinsk, September 16, 2019. The 12th Chelyabinsk Union of Industrialists & Entrepreneurs Conference took place in Chelyabinsk today.

According to Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) Information & PR Department, the event was attended by the Union members as well as Governor of Chelyabinsk Region Alexei Teksler, Chair of Chelyabinsk Region Legislative Assembly Vladimir Myakush, Chelyabinsk Region Government officials, members of the Russian Federation’s Federal Assembly, Chelyabinsk Region’s Senior Federal Inspector Sergey Morev, Chelyabinsk Region’s Business Rights Commissioner Alexander Goncharov, mayors of local municipalities, and heads of business organizations liaising with the Union. The conference was chaired by President of Chelyabinsk Union of Industrialists & Entrepreneurs and Chair of the BOD at MMK Viktor Rashnikov.

The conference participants looked into the Union’s report for 2015-2019 and the audit committee’s report, decided on an action plan for 2019-2023, and revised and adopted the regulatory documents for the Union. The Union’s governance board members got elected as well. Chair of the BOD at MMK Viktor Rashnikov got reelected as President of Chelyabinsk Union of Industrialists & Entrepreneurs.

It is reported that Viktor Rashnikov stated the Union’s policy in the following four years would go along the guidelines of the national projects set out by Russian President Vladimir Putin’s May Decrees in 2018.
