Thanks to EVRAZ Holding’s support, fourteen schoolchildren from Nizhniy Tagil, Kachkanar, and Mezhdurechensk took part in the Agency for Strategic Initiatives’ Cadre of The Future Program in the summer camp Artek, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s Corporate Communications Center reports.

The children who got selected for the program are among the most active participants of the Children’s Foresight Program who designed a number of socially important projects for their home towns.

‘EVRAZ Holding and the Social Investment Foundation have been coordinating Children’s Foresight sessions for the second year in a row. This year, the program unfolded in three different towns; the schoolchildren worked in teams that presented their proposals at foresight sessions and designed over thirty projects together. They defended their ideas successfully and attended workshops and master classes conducted by the authors of successful social initiatives; the projects are now being implemented in the towns where EVRAZ runs its member enterprises (Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Plant in Nizhniy Tagil, Kachkanarsky Ore Mining & Processing Plant in Kachkanar, and Raspadskaya Coal Company in Mezhdurechensk). More than two hundred schoolchildren and forty teachers are involved in the program at the moment,’ the company says.
