740 Workers at Raspadskaya Coal Company Get Awarded on Miner’s Day

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 26, 2019. 740 employees of EVRAZ Holding’s Raspadskaya Coal Company received government, regional, and company awards on Miner’s Day, the company’s PR Department reports.

‘Solemn ceremonies took place in Novokuznetsk and Mezhdurechensk, where the miners got congratulated on their achievements, and reports were made on the company’s performance in the last eight months. Long-service employees and current workers who contributed to Raspadskaya Coal Company’s and Kuzbass coal industry’s development and winners of the company Best in Profession and Idea Factory contests all received their awards,’ the department says.

Uskovskaya Mine’s Foreman at Section 5 Yaroslav Yerchenko and Vassily Gorbal’s team won the first prize in Kemerovo Region-coordinated Kuzbass’s Best Underground Miners Contest.

‘The year 2019 proves a very productive one for Raspadskaya Coal Company. We set a supplying record in May, shipping 1.72m tons of coal to customers in the course of one month. The company’s processing plant also sets output records on a monthly basis by processing more than 1,000,000,000 kg of coal every month,’ the company’s press service says.

Miners from Uskovskaya Mine, Raspadskaya Mine, Yerunakovskaya 8 Mine, and Alardinskaya Mine have all produced their first 1,000,000,000 kg of the year by now.
