MMK Group Directs RUB 1.04bn to Charity in January-June 2019

UrBC, Magnitogorsk, August 23, 2019. MMK Group directed RUB 1.04bn to charity and social welfare programs in the first half of 2019, the company’s Information & PR Department reports.
The focus is on supporting seniors and children and on improving the Group’s workers’ health.
MMK’s social welfare programs cater to all the population groups; for one, more than RUB 220m got allocated for covering the workers’ healthcare services; RUB 168.5m got allocated to co-pay for the workers and their families’ stays at health resorts; RUB 165m got allocated to support the elderly and people with disabilities; RUB 156.6m got allocated to support children and young adults; RUB 66.5m got allocated for sports projects; and RUB 45.6m got allocated for Culture Palace maintenance and culture events.
