4,500+ Liters of Counterfeit Alcohol Confiscated in Sverdlovsk Region

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 14, 2019. An illegal liquor-making factory got uncovered and liquidated in Malobrusyanskoye, Sverdlovsk Region, the Federal Service for Alcohol Market Regulation (Rosalkogolregulirovaniye) reports.
‘An inspection of the workshop in Lugovaya St made it clear that alcohol and alcohol-containing produce got manufactured there without a proper license or bottle-labelling,’ the agency says.
Rosalkogolregulirovaniye officials and Federal Security Service and police officers found over 9,000 bottles of various kinds of alcohol, more than 2,000 liters of alcohol-containing produce, and some 2,500 liters of lab alcohol (95% ethyl alcohol) made by OAO Kemerovskaya Farmatsevticheskaya Fabric and OAO Flora Kavkaza; a supply of bottles and containers was found as well.
The raw produce, the alcohol, and the equipment have by now been seized.
