URBD Gets New Retail Director
5 August 2019 (09:17)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 5, 2019. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development’s Retail Business Director Alexei Ovchinnikov resigned in order to focus on his own projects. He was succeeded in the position by the bank’s former E-Business Director Vadim Belopolsky, the UBRD’s website states.
Vadim Belopolsky worked in managerial positions at Alfa-Bank, Raiffeisenbank, and VISA International earlier. He was responsible for the strategy of designing and developing digital banking products and online sales at the UBRD up to now. As the new Retail Business Director, Belopolsky will be in charge of omni-channel sales to private customers, service improvements, and existing customer service and support.
‘The bank keeps changing in order to remain efficient. The transformations must involve the company structure, among other things, in order to make all the business processes even more productive. As recently as three years ago, only 16% of retail transactions took place online, whereas now the share of online transactions comes to over 50% of the entire transaction turnover and keeps rising. This is why we see it as strategically important to work on our e-banking and retail banking services as a single project. Vadim Belopolsky will now supervise our retail segment in terms of both online and offline customer interaction channels,’ says UBRD President Anton Soloviev.
