UBRD: Demand for Credit Cards Up 70%

31 July 2019 (09:11)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 31, 2019. The number of credit card applications the Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development received in the last week of July increased that received in the last week of June by 70%, the bank’s press service reports.

Thinking outside the box and making the most of life are the principles we live by as a business. While other banks are only starting to extend their CC grace periods to three months, we are revolutionizing the market by offering everyone a credit card and eight months without having to worry about interest payments. This is a total paradigm shift, and, judging by the demand for our new credit cards, our customers love it, says UBRD Marketing Director Alexei Merzlyakov.

Now the UBRD launched its new series of credit cards (60/120/240 days interest-free) on July 12. The grace period applies to every payment you make for goods and services. There’s also a 5% to 10% cashback option for certain purchase categories (and 1% for all other purchase categories). Besides, you can use ATMs to get cash commission-free (no grace period for these transactions, however).

The monthly cost of the service depends on the payment plan you settle for. Yet if you spend RUB 15,000/RUB 30,000/RUB 60,000 or more every month using your 60/120/240-day interest-free credit card, respectively, the card comes at no extra cost to you whatsoever.

For detailed terms and conditions for every credit card offer, please visit the bank’s website. You can apply for the card at every branch. Our existing customers can also apply for the new card online, using their e-banking service or the mobile app, the press service says.
