‘The subject matter relating to the sale of Reftinskaya Power Station comprises movable and immovable assets, coal/raw stuff stock, and spare parts. The transfer of ownership to KuzbassEnergo must occur within eighteen months of the purchase and sale transaction coming into effect, provided that the transaction has Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service’s approval,’ the press service says.

According to the press service, the price might get further adjusted within a 5% bracket. Additionally, extra payments (up to RUB 3bn all in all) might follow within five years of the sales’ close if certain conditions are met.

Now Enel Russia and KuzbassEnergo signed an agreement on the sale of the coal power plant in June.

The power plant comprises six 300-megawatt power-generating units and four 500-megawatt ones (thermal capacity: 350 giga-calories per hour). The plant can generate up to 40% of the electric power needed for Sverdlovsk Region’s consumption.
