MMK Helps Families Buy Cars

UrBC, Magnitogorsk, July 22, 2019. Twenty-eight employees of Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) and MMK Group with three or more children - and their families - received vouchers for a family car at Metallurg Arena in Magnitogorsk, the company’s press service reports.
The company’s management decided last fall that they would help families with five or more children buy a family car. According to the Group’s press service, this support program is currently unique in the Russian industrial sector. Twenty-eight families where one or both parents work for MMK Group entered the program on Metallurgist’s Day and Magnitogorsk’s 90th anniversary this year. Between them, these families raise 161 children under eighteen.
The project gets implemented in cooperation with Metallurg Charity Foundation that has been helping families with multiple children for many years now. The project’s partner Silver Auto Group offered a range of bonus options to the program participants, while CreditUralBank came up with preferential lending terms and commission-free account transactions for their potential borrowers.
The vouchers were presented to the families by MMK Director-General Pavel Shilyayev, Silver Auto Group’s Managing Director Nikolai Zadorozhny, and Vice President at CreditUralBank Alexander Lazutkin.
